The Super Dupers are thrilled to make their San Francisco Improv Festival debut this year.  It is also the debut of a new format
that we are incredibly excited about: Doo-Wop-Ner: An Improvised Small Claims Musical!  You be the judge!

Amber Dyson, Director's Notes:
"I used to be baffled by the abundance and popularity of small claims television programming...  It didn't particularly interest
me until I had an opportunity to work as a clerk in Small Claims court," observes director Amber Dyson.  "It wasn't until I
experienced the cases in person that I began to appreciate the richness and the drama of America's most prevalent type of
lawsuit."  Amber's work as a clerk in the courtroom offered a unique, bird's eye view of the stories as they unfolded, and she
began to notice a common thread.  "As the value of the cases typically falls under $2,500, one could always rely on hearing
this cry, 'It's not about the money... it's about the principle!'"  Yes... but the money helps.  Years of clerking and improvising
came together to develop this neat hybrid: Small Claims Drama + Music + Improv = Magic.  The Super Dupers will focus on the
truly compelling aspects of a small claims case: the relationship between the litigants, and why it went bad.  In addition to
determining the conflict of the night, the audience will serve as jury and help us resolve the story satisfactorily.

We're preparing for this show by gathering up some of our favorite improvisers, rehearsing scenes and music, and of course,
watching plenty of Judges Mathis, Judy, and Joe Brown (thank goodness for youtube!)  Who knows, maybe someday the
Super Dupers will offer musical mediation to help resolve real disputes!

KIMBERLY BECOMES DIRECTOR OF THEATRE ARTS DEPARTMENT AT DE LA
SALLE HIGH SCHOOL
Kimberly has been invited to breathe new life into the Theatre Arts program at the well known East Bay High
School, bringing her skills in project based learning, social justice/political theatre, and program directing to lead
a team of talented teachers.  Teaching full time and directing the after-school shows proved a hefty load during
the 09-10 school year and promises to bring new triumphs and challenges as she returns for her second year
'10-11.  Some how, she still finds time to train teachers, run workshops and perform with The Super Dupers and
BATS.

TWO SUPERS ARE ENGAGED...CONGRATS TO DAVE & AMBER DYSON...MARRIED
Amber and Dave have announced their engagement. Woohoo. Kimberly takes full credit for the introduction and
is lording her '05 prediction that the two would wed after she first spoke to Dave on the phone.  We wish them
the best of luck and know their combined superpowers of improv, creativity, laughter, and love will make
for a wonderful and interesting life together.  UPDATE: Dave & Amber were wed (with all Supers in attendance) &
have celebrated anniversaries!

KIMBERLY WILL RETURN TO CAT HIGH FOR '08-09
With the success of last year's school program, Kimberly has been invited to return to CAT High to continue and
refine the program.  With her focus on this Envision School (
www.envisionschools.org), Amber has moved into
an even more prominent roll and taken the reigns for our other school programs!  As we continue to grow our
educational programs, shows and studio classes have been placed on hold.  See our
bios for where you can
catch us teaching or performing with other organizations.

AMBER LEADS SYCAMORE VALLEY TO 5th YEAR IN OUR PROGRAM
Sycamore Valley Elementary completed its 5th year as part of our after-school programs. With both Fall and
Spring programs slated to continue for th 6th, '08-09 school year, we are enjoying the growth of our students in
this consistent program.  Our first graduate will move on to Middle School after participating since 1st grade and
becoming an assistant director and mentor in her final year as a seasoned 5th grader!  Go Allison!

KIMBERLY COMBINES FORCES WITH CITY ARTS & TECH HIGH
Early in 2007, Kimberly began talks with Envision schools and eventually City Arts & Tech High School about
creation and implementation of a program that uses theatre aspects to enhance reading comprehension skills of
all 9th graders.  She will begin the work in August 2008 and complete her California teaching credential in
English/Drama.

DEVELOPING A DISTRICT WIDE ARTS INTEGRATION PROGRAM
Kimberly has been asked to work with one of the Bay Area's largest and long suffering school systems to
develop, create, implement a district wide arts in education program unlike any other in the United States. Just a
few more hurdles to jump and the pilot program will be on track to start in Fall of 2007.
