Born into a theatrical family, Clay Robeson decided to take the Improv route when he got
tired of doing the same show night after night after night.

Starting his Improv career in Boston in 1999, Clay trained with the Improv Asylum where
he eventually taught and performed as part of their Touring Company, working with such
luminaries as Lisa Schurga and Second City's Brian Gallivan (while he was still Boston's
Brian Gallivan). During his time in Boston he also worked with Third Grade Trick, and
spent some time among the Improv Army.

Leaving corporate life in 2003, Clay relocated to his home state of California and settled
in the Bay Area, where he took up with the South Bay's Jesters of Yes, and began making
the trip to San Francisco to explore the Improv community there.  He also started
working with the San Jose based sketch comedy group Moron Life, and founded his own
video production company.

In 2006, Clay ended up photographing and House Managing the San Francisco Improv
Festival, becoming a producer for the 2007 and 2008 festivals.

Currently a member of the Un-Scripted Theater Company, he has performed in and/or
produced a number of shows, including The Great Puppet Bollywood Extravaganza,
Shakespeare: The Musical and In a World...

In his basement, Clay is currently working on a Sci-Fi dramatic webseries with an entirely
puppet cast.
