Seth Wright
Guest Performer

Seth wasn’t even sure that he’d enjoy improv when he first started in 1998 once he
joined the Ygnacio Valley High School improv team in Concord, CA. Today,
however, improv is Seth’s ambition. For three years Seth and his high school team
were top competitors in the Devil Mountain Improv League (DMIL) –a league
consisting of nine different local high schools. After high school Seth began
studying at San Francisco State University as a Theatre Arts and Psychology
double major. He really missed improv, however, and, finding no improv group at
SF State, he and a small group of friends formed their own improv group which,
after two and a half years of change and growth, has flourished into what is now
known as “The Improvisational Theatre Society.” To date Seth has trained with
BATS improv, participated in several outside private improv workshops, and, as a
guest instructor for Murphy’s Creek theatre (Murphy’s Creek, CA), he has taught
children the joys of improvising. Seth is now pursuing a master’s degree in Drama
Therapy at the California Institute of Integral Studies. He is dedicated to the idea
that anyone and everyone has the ability to improvise and be creative.”
